Cesar Loya's Biography
Cesar Loya was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up attending various Christian churches. At age twelve, Cesar fully surrendered his life to Jesus after recognizing his need to make Him Lord of his life. In high school, Cesar led an on-campus Bible club and a home Bible study for teens.
In 1999, Cesar joined the LifeLine Missions Internship program at Calvary Albuquerque and served there for two years. Throughout his teens and early twenties, Cesar participated in and led various mission trips to Ecuador, Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast.
Cesar met his beautiful wife, Aliza, on a mission trip to Nicaragua, and they married in 2002. They then moved to Aztec, New Mexico where Cesar served as the youth pastor of Animas Valley Church for two years. In 2004, Cesar began working at Parchments Bookstore at Calvary Albuquerque, becoming store manager in 2009. He served at Parchments eleven years.
God called Cesar into pastoral ministry at Calvary Albuquerque in 2017, where Cesar currently serves as director of Calvary Albuquerque Missions.
