Kerry Rose's Biography
Kerry Rose was saved at Calvary Albuquerque in November 1989. Originally trained as an architect at the University of New Mexico, Kerry began his volunteer work at Calvary washing toys for the children's ministry. He graduated from toys to teaching classes for grade-school boys; from there, he moved on to teaching a men's Bible study and facilitating a Connect Group, and then serving as a lay counselor.
Kerry was hired at Calvary in 2004 and was ordained as a pastor in February 2006. He focused on counseling and was privileged to teach in the School of Ministry. Along with other pastoral duties, Kerry oversees the discipleship ministries: Life Together Connect Groups, premarital classes, biblical counseling, and the Live Life: Devotion and Live Life: Discipleship classes.
Kerry has been married for over thirty years to his wife, Penny. They have three grown children, Erin, Kristian, and Ryan, as well as a granddaughter, Charlotte.
