Bobby Martinez' Biography
Bobby and his wife have attended Calvary of Albuquerque since 1984.
Bobby lived what he calls a "meaningless and reckless life" before he gave his life to Christ in 1979. After completing 4 1/2 years of Bible college, he came to Calvary Chapel and grew to love Skip's teaching and the warmth of the congregation. He has been involved over the years in leading kinships and marriage tune-up classes, working in children's ministry, etc.
The Lord placed Bobby in the banking industry for 24 years, where he was able to reach out to many people in the business community and share his faith with them. As he was contemplating what to do with the second half of his life, he was invited by Skip Heitzig to join his staff as the business administrator. When the Lord confirmed that this was where he was supposed to be, he came on staff in June of 2007 and has loved every minute of it.
Today, his responsibilities include overseeing Human Resources, the staff in the accounting, maintenance and custodial services, the staff of Parchments book store and Solomon's Porch, and the security/safety teams. He also oversees our Calvary Financial ministry.
He has been married for 27 years to his wife, Eileen. They have three beautiful children, Vanessa, Victoria and Vincent.
