Jarrett Petero's Biography
Jarrett Petero was born and raised in California. He grew up in a Christian home and by the time he was 17, he committed his life to Christ. After attending Calvary Modesto for ten years and spending a year at Calvary Bible College in Austria, Jarrett continued to follow God's call and in 1999, moved his family to Costa Mesa and served as an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa for six years. It was at Calvary Costa Mesa Jarrett met Pastor Skip Heitzig and joined Skip on staff in Ocean Hills. Little did Jarrett realize that God was establishing his steps for future ministry at Calvary Albuquerque. After leaving southern California and Ocean Hills, Jarrett served for 2 years at Cornerstone Fellowship in the East Bay area of Northern California. It was during this time that God began to give Jarrett clear direction on starting a church in Northern California and specifically in the East Bay near San Francisco. With much prayer and guidance, Calvary San Ramon was launched in 2005 and God began to work by His Spirit through the faithful teaching of His Word. Another turning point came in 2012 when Jarrett was called to come on board with Pastor Skip at Calvary Albuquerque. With much prayer, he and his family took the step of faith to join the pastoral staff and Calvary Albuquerque family.
Jarrett and Trisha have been faithfully married for 19 years and have four children: Noah, Londyn, Sarah, and Brooke.
