Velocity Middle School Student Ministry
Meeting Time: Wednesday at 7:00 pm, Saturday at 6:30 pm, Sunday at 9:30 am, and 11:15 am
Meeting Place: The PLEX
Velocity is aimed at ministering to middle school students right where they are in a way that's relevant to them. It's about strengthening their relationship with God and pushing them to go further in their faith. Through weekly Bible studies, in-home discipleship groups, and intimate times of worship, students learn what it means to be a follower of Christ, not just a believer.
Velocity hosts a variety of special events, outings, and outreaches each year. Annual events include:
• Ski Retreat
• Summer Camp
• Small Groups
There is always something going on in Velocity, so stop by and check out how you can get involved!

Jesus is the center of our worship, which is displayed through the exposition of the Word, in song, in prayer, and most of all through the way we live our lives.
Jesus is the center of our relationships, as we build each other up, equip one another for service, and encourage one another to continue making Jesus the center of our lives.
Jesus is the center of our witness which motivates us to take the news of the gospel to everyone.

Renovate at Calvary Nob Hill in the Lobo Theater
Meeting Time: Thursdays at 7:30 pm
Meeting Place: Calvary Nob Hill in the Lobo Theater
Renovate is a gathering of college age people who are in the process of becoming more like Jesus. We realize that none of us are perfect so we jump on board whole-heartedly with Paul's call to be transformed through the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:1-2). That's really it. It's that simple. Love Jesus, know Jesus, live like Jesus, make Jesus known.
We believe that the church was never intended to be a place to get some kind of Bible "fix" to supply one's conscience for the rest of the week, but to be a union, a family of followers who are encouraging each other in a life that is so contrary to the world around them; and yet so satisfying. This ministry is about knowing God more intimately, loving Him with our all, and living for his fame. We do this by uniting together to hear, read, study, and know the word of God and to further take that knowledge and love on campus, into the community, and across the city.
