Disciple Planet (Infants-5th Grade)
Disciple Planet, our children's ministry, provides Bible based, age appropriate instruction and care for your children during all regularly scheduled services. We consider it a privilege to serve your children ages infant through 5th grade.
How do I check in my child?
You will need to go to the Visitor’s Table located in the main foyer of the Disciple Planet area, where we will give your child a numbered nametag. We will give you a Parent Tag with the exact same number as your child’s. The Parent Tag must be shown in order to release your child at the end of class. If you decide to make Calvary your home church, we will give you an application for a permanent nametag.
Which class do I send my child to?
Children aged Infant-5 years-old, go to their AGE APPROPRIATE classroom.
Children in Kindergarten-5th Grade attend their GRADE APPROPRIATE classroom.
We will be happy to give you a map so you know where to go!
Which services have Biblical instruction for children?
All of our regularly scheduled services (Mid-Week through Sunday) have classes for children.
Who cares for the children in the classrooms?
Disciple Planet has dedicated servants who are faithful in showing the love of Christ and are committed to teaching God’s truth. These servants are pre-screened with both an interview and back-ground check before being allowed to serve in this ministry. We are always looking for more servants, if you are interested, please contact the DP office at 344-4101 or email chelsea.canfield@calvaryabq.org
If you would prefer to sit with your child during one of our services, please feel free to do so in our Family Room, accessible from the east foyer in the main sanctuary area. This room is specifically designed to minister to parents attending services with their children. A clear view of the sanctuary, along with video and audio service to the Family Room, ensures a meaningful worship service for those attending with young family members, while preserving an attitude of worship in our main sanctuary. |
