3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

Velocity Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

IFOC Chaplaincy Training

Calvary Crisis Caregivers and the International Fellowship of Chaplains will be offering an intensive 45-hour Chaplaincy Certification course March 15-19. Chaplaincy is a licensed designation, and this course is intended to qualify you for licensure. Course includes training in critical incident stress, stress management and stress debriefing, grief and loss, trauma, domestic violence, chaplaincy and the law, disaster relief and depression.
The five-day IFOC Chaplaincy Training will take place 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday, March 15 - Friday, March 19 in the PLEX. Chaplaincy Students Must Attend All Five Classes. Tuition is $300 with registration and $100 nonrefundable deposit due by February 25, with the remaining $200 balance due by March 15. Late registration after February 25 is available for $325. Registration is available at the door on the first day of class.

Adamah - Life Movement Productions Performance

Crossfade Turntable Ministry

Do you enjoy mixing and scratching? Turntables are musical instruments and Crossfade Turntable Ministry uses them to equip believers with a tool to praise God with a new song. Join them for their next meeting on Friday, March 19, at 6:00 PM in Room M1. The night will include a short devotion, time of prayer, a discussion of techniques and opportunities to minister, and, of course, a time for mixing and scratching on turntables. Come learn how the Lord can use your unique talent to reach the lost.

Challenge Men's Monthly Meeting

It's Fight Time! Join the Challenge Men's ministry for our next lesson in the teaching series, "Jesus Versus..." where we'll learn more about the victory that is ours in Christ! Idolatry takes on many forms and we've got to be careful to guard against it. Don't miss the message "Jesus vs. The American Idolater," led by Pastor Neil Ortiz on Saturday, March 20, at 8:00 AM in the HUB.
Challenge Men's Ministry meets on the third Saturday of each month for a time of fellowship, worship, and Bible Study. Join us at this meeting and find a small group Bible study where you can get involved with on a weekly basis.
Women's Outreach to Amigo Fiel

Ladies, you have the opportunity to minister through outreach events to women in the neighborhood of Amigo Fiel and the surrounding communities in Juarez, Mexico, March 26-28. Women who have a heart for prayer, outreach, and evangelism as well as one-on-one discipleship are encouraged to attend. This trip is open to women 18 years of age and older, or 16 years of age if accompanied by an adult. Cost of trip is $200. Please include a non-refundable deposit of $75 with your application by Mar. 17, 2010.

Are you feeling caught up in the world around you? Are you in need of fresh perspective? Revive is a night dedicated to reviving the hearts of youth through passionate worship of the awe inspiring God. We believe that worship is like a wildfire and once it has been ignited within the hearts and lives of students it will engulf the cold and broken world.
Youth from middle school through college age are invited to join Velocity, Vertical, and Renovate for a night of combined worship on Saturday, March 27, at 6:30 PM in the HUB. It will be a time to gather with peers, to humble ourselves before the Lord, and worship Him for who He is.

The Torn Veil
Join Brushfire Productions for an original Easter Musical Performance, The Torn Veil. This beautiful presentation portrays the story of Jesus Christ through the life cycle of a butterfly. Performances will take place at the National Hispanic Cultural Center Journal Theater, 1701 4th Street SW in Albuquerque.

Guest Speaker - Gino Geraci
Please join us as we welcome Pastor Gino Geraci as our guest speaker for all weekend services on April 10-11. Gino accepted the Jesus Christ in 1973 at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, and grew in his relationship with the Lord during the "Jesus Movement." He is a much sought-after conference speaker, conducting leadership conferences, Bible Conferences, and emergency service support conferences all over the world. Gino is the Pastor of Calvary South Denver where he continues to minister, preach, teach and serve.

Women's Ministry 2010 Spring Retreat

The Women at Calvary are excited to announce their upcoming annual retreat to the grand Hyatt Tamaya Resort set in the beautiful and serene bosque located along the Rio Grande River in Bernalillo, NM. This year's retreat, FEARLESS: "She is not afraid...", will be held April 16-17, 2010. Shelley Hurley, a member of the Harvest Christian Fellowship Virtue Bible Study teaching team and one of the founders of Hurley surf sportswear, is this year's keynote speaker. Guest musician Angela DiPrima will share her amazing gift of music throughout the weekend. A variety of workshops will also be available on Saturday.
All room costs include one night's accommodations and lunch on Saturday. Attendees are responsible for dinner on Friday evening and Saturday morning breakfast. The Hyatt does have an onsite restaurant, cafe, and small store to accomodate all of your dining needs. Rooms are assigned by the Retreat Hotel Coordinator. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

CAPE Home School Convention
Christian Association of Parent Educators - New Mexico is sponsoring the Christian Home School Convention and Curriculum Fair at Calvary of Albuquerque Thursday, April 22 - Saturday, April 24. This year's theme is Start, Stay, Finish Strong, and keynote speakers include Bill Jack of Worldview Academy, Mary Schofield, author or the High School Handbook, Steve Demme, author and founder of Math-U-See, and Mark Hamby of Cornerstone Family Ministries and Lamplighter Publishing. A children's conference will be held concurrently with the convention. Free activities on Thursday include a "getting started" workshop and an evening celebration featuring the New Mexico Home School Showcase. The highlights of the home school convention include key note sessions and workshops; a statewide graduation recognition ceremony and curriculum exhibit.

Global Adventures - Juarez Medical Trip

Join Global Adventures in Juarez, Mexico as we reach out with medical care to the community. We will come alongside Global Adventures missionary, Carlos Garcia, of Amigo Fiel Ministries, in reaching orphans, the church congregation, and others with the love of God through the provision of medical care. This trip is open to medical professionals (currently practicing or retired), their spouses, medical students, and bilingual speakers are also encouraged to apply. Velocity Mission Trip to South Dakota

Middle school students with a heart for missions are invited to apply for the 2010 Velocity Mission trip to South Dakota. Join us June 11-25, as we minister to Lakota Sioux Native Americans alongside Global Adventures missionaries Chug and Karen Garreau. through work projects, outreaches to children, and personal witnessing. The team will have various outreaches including a crusade for the kids with puppets, face painting, balloon animals, and more! In addition the students will assist in various work projects, including foot washing and the distribution of new shoes and socks.
Trip cost is $900 which includes a $100 non-refundable deposit due at the Front Desk by May 12.

National Worship Leader Conference
The National Worship Leaders Conference is coming to Calvary of Albuquerque, June 15-17. Join with others like you, learn from the experience of influential worship leaders and thinkers, and challenge one another to delve deeper into the art of leading worship. In the process, we will discover a new energy and passion for the ministry of leading the musical prayers of our communities.
Guest speakers include Skip Heitzig, Dr. Leonard Sweet, Buddy Owens, and Scotty Smith. Worship leaders include Anthony Evans, Matt Maher, Tommy Walker and Israel Houghton.

M88 Mission Trip to Belize

Join M88 Radio as we partner with Lighthouse Christian Radio for our Summer Mission Trip to Belize, July 10-18. The team will serve by conducting a sports camp for the local children at Ambergris Caye on the island of San Pedro, just off the coast of Belize. We'll play lots of sports like soccer and basketball, while sharing the love of Jesus Christ with these needy kids. We will also have an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful forests and beaches during free time. The cost of this trip is $2000. Application deadline is May 30.
