Express Prayer Focus
Come to the prayer chapel on the first Saturday of every month for a brief teaching and Q&A on prayer. Our focus during 2012 is the Lord's Prayer. Join us for a short message from Nelson Walker followed by a time of prayer on Saturday, February 4, at 5 pm.

Join Parchments bookstore for Kids' Calling Story Time on Saturday, February 4, at 10:30 am in Solomon's Porch. Children will enjoy the traditional folktale The Tale of Three Trees read by Ashley Baker. Once upon a mountaintop, three trees stood and dreamed of what they wanted to become when they grew up. Each of their dreams comes true in the most unexpected of ways. Children will enjoy a time of coloring after the story.
Pray for Calvary Missionaries
Join us at our monthly prayer meeting this Sunday, February 5, at 12:45 pm in the prayer chapel. You will learn about our church's missionaries and how to be involved in their work. This month we highlight Kelli O'Hea, who ministers to students in Jinja, Uganda, where her main focus is Bible literacy and discipleship.

she Ministries invites you to once again gather around the dinner table with Jesus, as we reconvene our Bible study Live Deliciously: Dining With the Savior, Part 2. Our spring semester covers life-changing lessons that Jesus taught including:

• The Twelve Disciples at the Last Supper (Mark 14:12-43)

At the end of each lesson, Lenya shares a favorite Middle Eastern recipe for you to take home to try with your family. Live Deliciously: Dining with the Savior, Part 2 also includes cooking demonstrations, where our chefs prepare you a taste of the Promised Land. Together, we will study God’s Word and draw closer to our Savior.
For only $15.00, you'll receive the notebook, homework for an entire year, delicious recipes, and yummy samples of authentic, biblical food. An age-appropriate children’s program is available on a limited basis during the morning session—only $5.00 for the semester. Join the women of she Ministries, every Tuesday in the HUB at Calvary of Albuquerque, beginning February 7 through April 10, 2012. Identical sessions at 9:30 am and 6:30 pm provide inspirational worship, in-depth teaching, and intimate small groups.

Basic Parenting Class
Based on the book Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Tedd Tripp, this four-week series is designed to provide parents with a biblical plan to follow for effectively raising God’s children in His ways. Join us on Tuesdays, beginning February 7, at 6:30 pm in the PLEX. The classes are free; there is no need to register.

Stewardship Ministry
Come join the Stewardship Ministry to be encouraged, uplifted, and advised how to biblically sustain your finances and become debt-free. Guitar Ministry

Do you have the desire to develop your talent for the guitar, or have you always wanted to learn how to play? The Guitar Ministry Class was founded to help bring musicians together and worship Jesus in spirit and truth. Our goal is to have fun, make a joyful noise unto the Lord, and see how God would have us use our music. Join us for 12-week series of Guitar Ministry Classes starting Thursday, February 9, at 6:30 pm in room M11 as we come together to train and encourage new and old worship leaders alike. Students must be at least 10 years old and bring their own guitar.
Living Beyond the Death of a Loved One

This class provides help and prayerful support for those who have experienced the death of a loved one by encouraging them to share their emotions and confront their grief. The 8-week series explores the bereavement process, steps toward healing, and the true nature of our relationship with God. Class is held Thursdays, beginning February 9, at 6:30 pm in room M19.
LAFF Monthly Meeting

LAFF (Life After Fifty Fellowship) is a ministry for those over the age of 50. We have regular monthly meetings to comply with Hebrews 10:24-25, which says, "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Each meeting consists of praise and worship, a potluck dinner, and a guest speaker. Come to our next meeting scheduled for Friday, February 10, at 6 pm in the PLEX as we welcome special guests Jerry and Lydia Long, who serve as missionaries with Global Adventures. A Night of Cinema and Romance
Valentine's Day is nearly upon us! Make plans now to take your date out on the town and enjoy Jane Austen’s classic tale Pride and Prejudice on the big screen plus free dessert and coffee on Sunday, February 12, at 7 pm at the Lobo Theater. This evening will also be a great opportunity to invite couples who lack a relationship with Christ for some romance and a chance to meet the Savior. This event is free.
H.I.S. Choir

Hallelujah Island Singers Children's Choir starts our spring session for children in grades 1-5 on Wednesday, February 15; children in kindergarten begin rehearsals on February 29. Parents, please bring your children and join us for a brief meeting on February 15 at 6:40 pm in rooms H4 and H5 in the HUB. Children in grades 1-5 begin rehearsals that evening; parents and kindergarteners will be dismissed to service. Registration and $5 fee per child are due by February 15. The Peak 2012
It's almost time for snowboarding, skiing, and fun in the snow! Registration for The Peak 2012 is underway! High school and middle school students are invited to this weekend packed with loads of fellowship, Bible study, and fun on the slopes! Are you yearning to see and experience God's glory through the gifts of the Holy Spirit? Come, wait on the Lord with us at empower, after the midweek service on the fourth Wednesday evening of each month in the prayer chapel. Join us on Wednesday, February 22, immediately following the service for a time of worship, prayer, and waiting on the Lord. This is also a time to utilize our spiritual gifts to edify and encourage the church and to glorify the Lord.
Global Adventures Philippines Trip

Join Global Adventures as we head out to spend spring break showing Christ's love to the children at the Faith, Hope, and Love Kids Ranch in Lucena City, Philippines, March 10-24. The FHL Kids Ranch was started by Global Adventures Missionaries Celestino and Lorraine Lamar and their family. They currently house children who have been removed from neglecting and abusive homes.
