Good Friday: Love Bleeds

Join us on Good Friday, April 3, at noon as we gather together in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for us. Come to the amphitheater for worship, a brief message from Pastor Skip, and Communion. United Blood Services will be at Calvary Albuquerque for a blood drive from 8-11 am and 1-3 pm. Remember: blood saves lives!

Easter Sunrise Service: Jesus Loves You

Every year, thousands of people are greatly impacted by the wonderful news of Jesus' sacrifice for us. Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with us on Easter morning and come to Calvary Albuquerque's Easter Sunrise Service: Jesus Loves You on Sunday, April 5, at 7:30 am. Join us at University Stadium for a message from Pastor Skip Heitzig and live worship with The City Harmonic. Spanish translation and deaf interpretation will be available at the stadium. Additional services will be held at 9:30 and 11:15 am at Calvary Albuquerque. No backpacks, please. In case of inclement weather, tune in to KNKT 107.1 FM for updates.

This is our biggest event of the year! Please remember to allow extra time for travel to and from the stadium.

Please note that the services at 6:30 pm on Saturday, April 4, and 8:00 am on Sunday, April 5, at Calvary Albuquerque are canceled.

IFOC Chaplaincy Training

When: Starts Monday 4/13/2015 8:00 am - Ends Friday 4/17/2015  5:00 pm
Where: Calvary Chapel Southwest

The International Fellowship of Chaplains (IFOC) is offering an intensive forty-five-hour chaplaincy certification course, April 13-17. Chaplaincy is a licensed designation, and this course is intended to qualify you for licensure. Course includes training in critical incident stress, stress management, stress debriefing, grief, loss, trauma, domestic violence, chaplaincy and the law, disaster relief, depression, and more.

The five-day IFOC Basic Chaplain Training takes place 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday, April 13-17, at Calvary Chapel Southwest, 1720 Bridge Blvd. SW. Tuition is $300 with early bird registration through March 6; after March 6, tuition is $400. For more information, contact Kater Zemke at 505.363.5843.

Reboot

When: Starts Friday 4/17/2015 6:30 pm - Ends Sunday 4/19/2015  12:30 pm
Where: The Hub, Calvary Albuquerque

After two grueling semesters of school and with spring fever in the air, life can feel like a Mac with the spinning pinwheel for a cursor—like your student's faith has a constant lag. Reboot your kid's world with three rowdy days of radical worship, killer teaching, honest small groups, and the Reboot run. Mid-high and high school students are invited to Reboot, Friday-Sunday, April 17-19, at Calvary Albuquerque. The cost is $60 per person, which includes meals and housing. Full payment is due by Monday, April 13. Sign up online or at any of our student services.

Reboot leaders and volunteers are required to attend a meeting on Wednesday, April 15, at 8:45 pm in The Plex.

There is also a mandatory parent/host meeting on Thursday, April 16, at 6 pm in the sanctuary.
