Do you look around and feel despair and heartbreak at the shape our world is in? Do you have a heart to see this once great nation return to the values it was founded in: God and country? It's time to learn how to build and battle!
Join Lenya Heitzig and she
Ministries as we delve into the powerful book of Nehemiah in our citywide Bible study, Live Hopefully: A Study in the Book of Nehemiah. When Nehemiah heard that Jerusalem was in shambles, he was broken for the Israelites and brought to tears. Through his example, we see the power of prayer and strong spiritual leadership.
Walking through the book of Nehemiah, we will study powerful verses like, "So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven" (Neh. 1:4) and "Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses" (Neh. 4:14).
Join us each Tuesday, beginning September 9, at 9:30 am or 6:30 pm at Calvary Albuquerque for a semester of mighty teachings, meaningful worship, and intimate small groups where we learn to put the Scripture into practice in our everyday lives. And don't miss Titus Tuesdays! For two days of the semester, we will have teachings with practical and valuable lessons on budgeting and meal planning. Even if you are an expert in these areas, bring a friend to learn some inspiring new ways to think.
As Nehemiah rallied the Israelites to rebuild their ruined city, he also taught them to battle the Enemy's advances. This semester, whether you are in the battle or in a time of building, join us as we learn how to thrive in the Lord in both seasons.
For only $20, you'll receive a homework binder, weekly lectures, study notes, and online access. An age-appropriate children's program is available on a limited basis
during Calvary Albuquerque's morning session; cost is just $5 per child per semester.
