Life Track is a four-step journey that equips you to connect to the church, discover the strengths of your purposeful design, develop the essentials of leading with influence, and use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.

Leadership is influence. Nothing more. Nothing less. In step three, you will find out what it means to be a leader at Calvary Church and learn how you can strengthen your character and gifting to fulfill your leadership potential.

Step three takes place on the third Sunday and following Wednesday of every month. Join us for step three of Life Track on Wednesday, June 20, at 6:30 pm in the Plex at Calvary Church Albuquerque.

she Ministries presents she Lives with Janaé Heitzig, a ministry created to guide and direct women on how to maintain spiritual, physical, and relational health in their lives today.

Whether you are old or young or mature in your faith or a new believer, I believe it is vitally important to pursue life to its fullest. she Lives provides women with an outlet to worship, glean from God's Word, and fellowship through activities and authentic conversations. It is a ministry that follows the example of the Proverbs 31 woman and intertwines it with the instruction given in Titus 2—to glean from those who have gone before us. There is no greater way to live life for Jesus than to do so with one another. I encourage you to take this opportunity and join us in the pursuit to live with spiritual, physical, emotional, and relational health. —Janaé Heitzig

Keeping our bodies healthy can be hard as we juggle work, home, family, and all the activities that come with that. Join Run Passionately on Saturdays at 8 am for a time of prayer and fellowship. On Saturday, June 23, meet us at the Albertsons parking lot on the east side of Starbucks, located at Tramway Blvd. and Academy Rd. As you exercise at your own experience level, you'll get the accountability you need to start living healthy.

  • Level 3: Joggers
  • Level 4: Runners
Join us weekly as we get healthy physically and refreshed spiritually.

June 2018 Baptism

When: Sunday 6/24/2018 1:15 pm - 2:00 pm
Where: Amphitheater

Baptism affirms a believer's faith in Jesus. We invite you to take this important step on Sunday, June 24, in the amphitheater at 1:15 pm. Please bring a towel and wear a modest swimsuit. Children who would like to be baptized are required to attend a class in room H3 on Sunday, June 17, at 9:45 am with their parents or guardians.

Register at calvarynm.church/baptism no later than Friday, June 22, so we can prepare for you.

Freedom Celebration 2018

Where: Isotopes Park, Albuquerque

Join us for Freedom Celebration 2018 Friday-Saturday, June 29-30, at Isotopes Park. As Americans, we have so many freedoms to be thankful for; as believers, we are thankful for the greatest freedom of all: freedom from sin and death.

Doors open at 5 pm, and the event starts at 7 pm. Both nights feature food concessions, inflatables for the kids, a spectacular fireworks display, and a powerful message by Skip Heitzig, plus high-energy music from these fantastic artists:

Juárez Mission Trip

Where: Juárez, Mexico

Join Calvary Missions August 2-5 as we partner with Calvary missionaries Carlos and Sylvia Garcia to reach out to Juárez, Mexico with the love of Jesus Christ. One day of the trip will focus on medical outreach, so we encourage doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other medical professionals to apply.

The trip cost is $400, including a $100 nonrefundable deposit (check or money order only) due with your application by July 2. Return your completed application, background check authorization form, and deposit to the front desk. Only complete and signed applications will be accepted; applications without a background check authorization or deposit will not be accepted.

she Ministries Summer Conference: Pillow Talk

she Ministries presents Pillow Talk: Sex, Jesus, and the Conversation the Church Has Forgotten on Saturday, August 4, at 9 am. Join us for our summer conference with guest speaker Mo Isom as we have open and honest conversation about God's original design for sex. Whether you are single or married, God has something to say to you regarding this very special gift He has given to us as women. This event features a Conversation Corner. Submit any questions you have about our conference topic, and our guest panel of female ministry leaders will answer your questions at the conference.

Tickets include a boxed lunch and are available online and at Parchments bookstore for just $25 when you purchase by July 8; price increases to $35 on July 9. Group pricing is also available.

Live Deeply: A Study of the Parables of Jesus

The simplest definition of a parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Join us as we study the very words of Jesus, the master storyteller, as He tells these short, simple stories based on real-life experiences in order to communicate spiritual truths. Jesus wanted His followers to know who God is, what His kingdom is like, and how they should live. Now you can dig deeper into the meaning of these parables in lessons that conjure vivid imagery of the sights and sounds of ancient Israel.

Join she Ministries for Live Deeply: A Study of the Parables of Jesus each Tuesday, beginning August 28, at 9:30 am or 6:30 pm at Calvary Church Albuquerque. You will experience a semester of powerful teachings by Lenya Heitzig, meaningful worship, and intimate small groups where we will learn to put the Scriptures into practice in our everyday lives. This is a study you will not want to miss.

There is no fee to attend this Bible study; however, registration is required. Study books can be purchased at Parchments bookstore. An age-appropriate children’s program is available on a limited basis during the morning session; cost is just $5 per child, per semester.
