The purpose of the Billy Graham Rapid Response team and Calvary's Crisis Caregivers is to deploy chaplains who will bring a ministry of presence and prayer and appropriately share God's love, comfort, and hope with those affected by man-made or natural disasters.

Crisis Caregivers' chaplains are specially trained to share God's hope and love with people facing disaster or everyday crisis. Chaplains are trained in critical incident stress, stress management, and stress debriefing as well as in grief and loss, trauma, domestic violence, chaplaincy and the law, disaster relief, and depression.
