Update from Haiti
Posted: Thursday, March 11, 2010In Chaplain Les Palmer's most recent update from Haiti, he talks about the profound impact the ministry is having on individual lives. One visit to a local IDP camp resulted in over 200 people coming to the Lord. Though the physical conditions are difficult and the suffering has been intense, the people are receptive to the message of the Gospel, and the hope available through Jesus Christ. March Connection Resource
Posted: Monday, March 01, 2010Today, much of the scientific world rejects the idea that the universe was designed by an intelligent Creator. The Connection has put together resources that will help you understand the battle for truth and establish a Biblical view concerning the origin of the universe. In the controversial film "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," writer/actor Ben Stein seeks to end suppression of thinking outside of the evolutionary box, and asks the question "Why is no intelligence allowed in today's classrooms?"
Also included in this month's offer is "In the Beginning," by Skip Heitzig. In this new Life Style booklet, Skip examines the Genesis account of creation, and contrasts it with the teaching of evolution which denies the existence of God.
