This Weekend at Calvary

We continue in the series Jesus Loves People with this weekend's message, "Jesus Loves Doubters." God loves people from all walks of life, and as we see how Jesus interacted with those He encountered, we learn that He never turned away the questions of a sincere searcher. Join us this weekend as Pastor Skip explains how Jesus showed love to two doubters—both of whom were friends of His.

Calvary Launches Jesus Loves People Series

It was a memorable weekend as Pastor Skip launched the new series, Jesus Loves People, at Calvary Albuquerque's weekend services on January 24-25. The Battle Drums team shared worship songs about God's unrelenting love before a special performance by local spoken word artist Levi the Poet. Pastor Skip then kicked off the series with a message called "Jesus Loves People," giving us truths that set the foundation for the rest of the series. He explained that Jesus loves people and has the capacity to love all kinds of people uniquely. Skip reminded us that we are the hands and feet of Jesus, and that since God's love was poured into us, it should pour out of us.

Drop an L-Bomb with Reload Love

Mark your calendars for February 14-15, because Reload Love is dropping a love bomb! This Valentine's Day weekend, we're aiming to explode a $50,000 L-bomb to redeem the lives of children who have been caught in the crossfire of terrorism. When you make a donation to Reload Love on February 14-15, your funds will help:
  • Create safe learning spaces and provide trauma counseling for children in the Middle East
  • Provide warm clothing and crisis counseling for young people who have been tortured and raped by members of ISIS.
Get ready to drop the L-bomb on February 14-15 and make a donation that weekend. And if you become a monthly donor during the month of February, you'll receive our new double disc charm. (Note: This is only applicable to new monthly donors of a suggested donation of $30 or more.)

The problem is terror, and the answer is love. Let's change the world one heart at a time.
