July Connection Resource

The world promises freedom, but guess what? It's a scam. We have political freedom and other kinds of freedoms, but we're more in bondage than we might think. There's a deeper kind of freedom—the kind Jesus offers. Discover that freedom with this month's Connection resource, which includes a package of six Lifestyle booklets from Skip Heitzig that will strengthen your faith and provide clear direction from God's Word. You'll also receive a Refresh booklet from Lenya Heitzig called Speak No Evil about the power of words, as well as Battledrums' debut worship album, The War Is Over, featuring original songs that will inspire you to live fully in the freedom of Christ.

Order this special July resource from The Connection for a suggested donation of $30 or more. Place your order online or when you call 800.922.1888.

At Crocodile Dock VBS, Kids Learn about God's Faithfulness

Over 750 kids learned about the faithfulness of God at Bible Island's Crocodile Dock VBS, June 22-26, at Calvary Albuquerque. Their weeklong adventure was filled with Bible teaching, crafts, games, snacks, and worship. Each day began with worship and a skit where they learned that God cares for them and keeps His promises. The kids also dived into a Bible lesson each day as they studied the life of Moses, learning to "fear not—God rocks!" During the week, they had a blast making crafts, like an alligator microphone to remind them to share Jesus' love with others. They also put Christ's love into action through the VBS mission project, making bags of blessings for the homeless and collecting over $1,200 for Reload Love. Highlights from the week included a wacky hair day and a giant slip and slide on Thursday. Over 300 volunteers helped Bible Island make this a fun week for the kids as they learned about God's love.
