Eric Lamb 's Biography

Eric LambIn 1985 Eric was called out of the Catholic Church after many years of grappling with issues of faith. After leaving the Catholic faith, Eric came to Calvary of Albuquerque, and a couple of years later he became involved in ministry. Over time, Eric was asked to step up into a leadership capacity; he was approached by Pastor Al Pitman and asked to take over his kinship group of 35 members. "I stepped in with fear and trembling and faith." The Lord did amazing work in and through Eric as Pastor Al mentored him. The kinship grew and split off into 2 new fellowships. At the same time, Eric began to teach self-defense classes that eventually grew into a ministry, and later on, he began sports ministry activities for Calvary. For the last three years, Eric has been teaching an all men's ministry titled Every Man's Battle.

Eric felt the Lord’s call into pastoral ministry, and in 1997-1998, Eric attended the Shepherd's School of Ministry at Calvary of Albuquerque. In 2001 Calvary asked Eric to come on staff. "I have enjoyed serving the staff and the church body of Calvary with great love and joy." Eric is looking forward to working full-time at the church and also to the day when he will be able to step out and start a Calvary Church.
