Purpose: Do you have a heart for ministering to the elderly? The Nursing Home Ministry brings the love of Jesus to those who live in nursing homes throughout the city. We serve the residents in many capacities such as sharing the gospel, visiting with them and providing a listening ear, encouraging those who are believers to strengthen their faith, and being a good witness to the staff and families of the residents.
Caring Hands: Assist the leaders at the nursing homes by sitting with the residents, talking with them, showing Jesus' love through physical contact (hugs and holding hands), bringing snack or Communion elements, and assisting with any other task the coordinator may give you.
Nursing Home Minister/Bible Study Teacher: Use your gifts of teaching and ministering to lead a Bible study, hold church services, provide Communion, and worship with the residents. Bring the saving gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to those who may not have heard it, or need their faith renewed.

Let nursing home residents know there is someone who cares, and a God who loves them more than they can imagine. Share His message by joining this ministry of love.
